Because you know I never post enough, there are several new photo collections up on the Gratuitous Scenery page.
Following our trip to Gooseberry Falls State Park last week, Nolan and I spent some time this week walking around our neighborhood trying to squeeze out every last breath of autumn we could out of the fine weather. Turns out, late fall is pretty up here even in the city.
And it definitely is the end of the season here — we had our first snowfall last night! No accumulation, of course, but an arctic cold front with something to prove blasted through here, bringing below-freezing temps and gunmetal grey skies. You add a few feet of snow and that pretty much sums up how the next six months are going to look, I hear.
But you know what? We’ll be ready. Bring it, Ol’ Man. Bring it on.
(Our thoughts and prayers are with my favorite grape juice family today. Cindy was well loved – I know Heaven is still celebrating her return.)
