Visitors

We have company!

Well, we had company. Nolan got a good visit from his Gigi and Grrr (that’s Grandma and Grandpa C, to you laypeople).

They brought warmer-than-usual weather with them, which was a kindness because even the thawing up here is chilly!

Needless to say, kiddo was pretty excited to see them.

Laps and laps and laps around the backyard. (Drove Greta absolutely nuts!)
Many, many laps around the backyard. (And drove Greta absolutely nuts in the process!)

The menfolk were the clear favorites of the week.

Especially Grandpa.
Especially Grandpa.

They even managed to find him his very own life-size “Thomas” to explore up in Cloquet.

He LOVED the train we found in a park in Cloquet (just outside the coffeeshop we like).
He LOVED the train we found in Fauley Park (just outside that coffeeshop we like).

After an hour inside, the train proved WAY more fun than the coffee house playroom that day.

Probably couldn't have gotten these pictures without the presence of grandparents. He climbed all over that train!

Nolan spent the week perfecting his leading-grownups-around-by-a-finger trick. Not that he wasn’t an expert before.

The look on his face says it all.

And I’m pretty sure he gained at least three pounds. Most of it in cookies and chocolate milk.

The Cookie Monster hoodie is pure truth.

Even Dad got an extra day off!

Mom and I were pretty much chopped liver this week, but somebody had to be there to change diapers!

We also got to visit the Duluth Trading Co. store in downtown Duluth, and take a short trip up to Grand Marais. All in all, I’d say it was a great visit.

More photos to come!
