Our Summer So Far – Part 3 of 3

If you’re not already caught up on our summer (so far), here’s Part 1 and Part 2.

There's been a whole lot of this poor kid getting his face kissed on!

We’ve added another visitor to our numbers.

Grandpa M came back to stay.
Grandpa M came back to visit, and Nolan hasn’t wanted anything to do with the rest of us since he got here.

There’s been the usual goings on: shopping trips to Duluth Trading Co., more eating at Fitger’s (those cheese curds, man), and a drive up to the Iron Range.

Lots of time with dad, especially this weekend for the holiday!

And now, the second biggest news of the summer…

John shaved his beard!

(Photos coming soon.)

In the meantime, Nolan’s also been playing (read: tolerating) dress-up with Auntie M.

In truth, she's usually more about stripping him down to his diaper than dressing him up.

There’s been some adventuring.

We even found a sailboat race down at Park Point!

Auntie M definitely preferred the water (which is unusually warm this year, thank goodness).

Belly2

That’s right. John and I are expecting Baby Boy #2 in September ’15!

No names picked yet, but we’re down to a short list. And in the interest of not grossing anybody out, I’ll try to keep the hormonal outbursts to a minimum these next few weeks.

(!!!!!!!!!!)

(Few weeks!)

(!!!!!!!!!!)

Happy Independence Day, everybody. Be safe!
